Storms and accidents have claimed many boats and airplanes on Lake Washington.
One of the original I-90 bridge spans, after sinking in a rough storm, still lies beneath the surface near the existing bridge decks.
In addition, there are numerous plans about to log (dead) old-growth trees from the bottom of Lake Washington.
