Seattle24x7.com was founded as Seattle's first Internet business community directory and news site by Larry Sivitz and Soula Jones in 1999. Chronicling the growth of the Seattle Internet scene, the Website served as the city's first online community for E-commerce, a role it continues to fill to this day.

Managing editor Larry Sivitz has been involved on the Seattle Internet scene in many roles including Internet "Link" columnist for Seattle magazine, Homepage editor for MARKETING - a Northwest advertising, media and marketing monthly journal, and a co-host on the nationally syndicated WebTalkRadio show as well as a search marketing speaker and expert. Ms. Jones was an executive editor for Wall Street Week.

The Seattle24x7 Website features a mix of Internet news and commentary, interviews with Seattle Internet leaders, an extensive Seattle Internet company directory, a Seattle Internet People profile section, a Seattle Internet community event calendar, a local Jobs board, and more.

The Seattle24x7 Website also features guest editorial by subject matter experts throughout the local E-scene. Other regular contributors to Seattle24x7 include Dave Chase of Altus Alliance, and Susan Schreter of Inside Entrepreneurship.
