I am seeking the vacant seat on the Seattle City Council. For the past two weeks, I have been garnering endorsements and talking to people across the city concerning my candidacy. I would like your support in my bid to replace Jim Compton on the Council.

I believe that my training as an attorney, experience working as a policy analyst for the City Council, director of government affairs for Lifelong AIDS Alliance, policy manager and lobbyist for a major corporation (McCaw Cellular Communications/AT&T Wireless Services), and as a public affairs consultant for local entities, in addition to my volunteer work in literacy, on the Seattle Public Library Foundation Board, the Institute for Public Service Training, Planned Parenthood, etc., would be an asset to the Council. My skills, experience and interests would compliment the current skills and qualities of the Council as it heads into 2006.

I would definitely appreciate your support and your letting your friends and neighbors know of my pursuit of the Council position. If you would like to discuss my bid, please feel free to give me a call (home, 206-522-8719, cell, 206-399-4481) or send an email.
